Here he is with Marla who was brave enough to cut Connor's hair. How she did it while he screamed, cried, and wiggled is beyond me.
Here is a side view.. no more long, curly hair.

Early in the morning on Friday, October 27th, the concrete guys started their work. The boys were glued to the window the entire time.. they really wanted to go out and help.
This guy is tamping down the sand... Nolan said he was mowing the dirt.
I took Nolan out when Connor was taking a nap. He just had to get close to the bobcat.
The boys had to wait through the weekend before they could see the concrete truck.. boy were they excited when it arrived.
Looking at the west side of the concrete pad.
The last of the concrete going in the southeast corner of the pad.
Nolan helped me put their shoeprints in the concrete.. he did a great job writing his name.
The finished product... now all we have to do is the retaining wall, the roof, and the siding.
Nolan is in the red hat waiting for the calf to come back.
Connor wasn't afraid of the animals.. he reached right in and started laughing.
Nolan and Connor staying for a picture.. it may have been cold but the sun was sure bright!
Nolan feeding one of the pygmy goats. This particular goat was very friendly.. but he also turned out to be the ornery one.
The kids got a lesson on the hatching of chickens and then got to hold them.
Here is Nolan coming out of one of the cool slides.
