Great Smoky Mountains

On Wednesday our dear friends treated us to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
We saw so much beauty it's impossible to capture it in pictures.

This was one of the beauty spots along the way.

We finally realized that our chauffeur wan't mountain diving.
He was picking some wild raspberries for us.
Yum!

I was not in the front seat but that didn't stop me from taking oodles of pictures!

Had to get a picture of the Batmobile when we went through Gatlinburg.
We had always talked about going but never did because it was too far from Erwin.
We decided that next time we're in Tennessee we're definitely making a day trip.

This is a perfectly timed photo.
Silly stop sign.

We picnic-ed at one of the Smoky Mountains National Parks entrance parking lots.
(I think that's where we were.  The day kind of blended together after a while.)
Connor is in the background by the orange cones.
He wanted shade.

One of the many waterfalls.

Dan and Cheryl, our gracious hosts for our week in Tennessee.
We had so much fun!

We stopped to let the boys play in the water.
How can you go by a creek and not get in it, right?

Mountain water can be very cold.

So many beautiful spots.
Isn't God's creation amazing!
